“This is the story of my biggest adventure ever. A five year plan had been conjured up that would see me travel the globe with my rods and work fiercely hard during the winter to build up the pot to do it all again the next summer.

The planning logistics, thousands of miles of diesel and road tolls and a small fortune spent on just bait alone, were all predictable hurdles. Then there is the unforeseen.

The book covers the last 4 years of this adventure and documents the capture of more than a hundred plus fifty pounders and some of the biggest catches ever put together. For me those captures are secondary to the trip itself on which I have met many amazing people and pushed and tested myself to the limit.

Bait has always been at the forefront of 40 years of carp fishing and is a constant vein throughout the story and finishing it off with a few new chapters that go into some detail about flavours and attractors.
